Nani’s first hospital work was in Isiolo Hospital where she
assembled a team of local artists and they covered the white walls
with murals and the empty benches with concrete patients.
Outside the children’s hospital, Gertrude’s Garden, there
is a screen with African glass faces.
At the entrance of Nairobi Hospital there is a ‘Get well Soon’
sculpture. The Aga Khan Hospital sports ‘Health, Hope and Happiness’
reminiscent of his Highness’s plumed crown.
